Migiwa Miyajima's strength lies in creatively planning optimal collaborations. Besides performing and holding masterclasses internationally, she has engaged in various activities. These include speaking at international venues and discussing career building, often based on her career shift from a magazine editor in Japan to a musician in NY.

In her commission work, her specialty is composing pieces that maximize the appeal of the soloists or the entire group, while also introducing an element of surprise that transcends their past repertoire.

In music education, she has extensive experience working with groups ranging from pre-schoolers to professionals through masterclasses, collaborating with institutions such as schools, local governments, and governmental bodies.

In works as an advocate for women and socially marginalized groups, she has been involved in activities such as appearing as an Asian representative in concerts introducing Asian artists, speaking at rallies against anti-Asian racism, volunteering for organizations that provide mentorship to young women, and participating in concerts for international exchange at the Consul General of Japan's official residence in NY.
